Never underestimate the power of excellent quality patent illustrations. We formalize illustrations for the US patent office - it's what we do best! Our goal is to provide the best quality work in a timely manner and at reasonable costs. In addition to patent drawings, we also extend the same philosophy in our work with trial graphics (or litigation support) and our graphic design services.

In 2007, AM Patent Drawings owner Alfonso Martinez decided to take the knowledge he acquired working at a patent drafting firm and later a small marketing company and apply it to his own operation. The result is a small but growing business that has successfully served many attorneys, manufactures and business.

Alfonso, or "Al" as many people like to call him, first started working as a patent draftsman in 1999. After nearly 5 years of working for a patent drafting firm, Al decided to join a small marketing company where he started as a web and graphic designer. He quickly established himself as the creative director and marketing adviser with that same company. In 2007, Al was presented with the opportunity that allowed him to start operating his own shop. The rest is history....

Andrew Lennhoff
Patent Illustrator/Graphic Designer

Andy has been a patent Illustrator since 2004. He graduated from Frostburg State University as an Art and Design major with a minor in Art History. As an accomplished illustrator and cartoonist, Andy has produced art work for multiple types of media, as well as a children"s book.

He joined AM Patent Drawings in early 2011 and has been a huge asset in providing our clients with the best quality work. Andy is knowledgeable in all things concerning patent illustrations, so feel free to ask him some of the tough questions!
